Flavia Mensen is a Brazilian illustrator based in Brooklyn, NY, where she has resided since 2013.

She specializes in children's illustration with her favorite subject being animals.

Previously, Flavia resided in Milan, Italy.

While there, she studied digital illustration at the Istituto Europeo di Design,

and printmaking at Stamperia d'Arte with the Spanish artist Pilar Dominguez.

Her work was featured in art shows, and at the art gallery Spazio Tadini.​
​In addition to illustration, Flavia also has a passion for animal causes and volunteer work.
